Verified Purchase: “I have terrible allergies and I got this purifier to help me with my allergies! I love that it has a filter that filters out just about everything! Once my husband was burning leaves outside and the wind shifted and the smoke blew towards our house and started coming into the house and the purifier cleaned the smoke out of the air fast! So you can really see it work! The only thing I’ve noticed that doesn’t work that good is the air quality monitor. It always bounces back and forth between 7 and 9. Doesn’t seem to react to pollen, pet dander, dust or possibly mold. But it does register VOC’s! If it picks up a any smell, air freshener, smoke, or the VOC’s from using the stove and oven the air quality monitor goes way up! But other than VOC’s it stays at 7 and 9. But I don’t mind that. It works great and I just keep it set on speed 4 instead of using the manual setting because I want to make sure it’s circulating the air constantly to help with my allergies so it does what I need it to. Would be nice to know the air quality for dust, pollen, dogs, and mold just to know what’s in the air throughout the day, but as long as I know it’s cleaning the air, that’s what’s important for me! And it’s amazing how it picks up VOC levels! I never knew ovens created so much VOC’s! I would definitely purchase this again. I love that it cleans large areas instead of just a small room. I did a lot of research before purchasing this unit and it was the best one for the price. If you research the square footage air purifiers cover, the CADR rating, the actual number for the air quality sensor, how many times it circulates air in the room, the warranty, the price, how much the filters cost to replace, how often you have to replace the filters, and what the filters clean out of the air, you can see that this unit is the best overall air purifier for the price. I researched most of the top brands before getting this one! The 5 stage filtration on the filters, and the medical grade hepa filter was a big reason why I got this one. It filters everything from pollen, pet dander, VOC’s, and viruses. I also didn’t trust one that emits ozone because there’s conflicting info on whether ozone is safe or not. And this one doesn’t emit ozone! Other brands I looked at were Germ Guardian, Levoit, Blue Air, Honeywell, Breath Smart, Nuwave, Sharp, Medfy, AirMega, Winix, Austin Air, Oransi, Air Doctor, Ren Pho, and Rabbit Air and Alen and this beat all of them when I compared the square footage, CADR rating, price, air quality sensor, how often air circulates the room, price of filter and how often you change the filter and the warranty. I also researched the Amazon reviews on all the purifiers and chose this one! So if you are looking into air purifiers ignore what companies say about their purifiers. Do the research and compare the above things like I did! Especially pay attention to the square footage and get one that covers the square footage you need for your home! But you can’t go wrong with this one! Its a working machine and does great at keeping your air clean!”
Verified Purchase: “My wife bought this machine from Amazon about 9 months ago. We haven’t had any of the maintenance problems other users have had. I haven’t seen any reviews here from an “unwilling” household member, so I wanted to post this. We have had the same automatic drip coffee maker for over 10 years, so this was a serious upgrade for us. As a guy who “just wants a cup of coffee” in the morning, I was very skeptical that I could grow to love this machine. We have limited counter space and so didn’t want to have both. But my wife promised she’d make the coffee every morning, so I consented. Her promise lasted about two months, so indeed I was stuck using the machine as expected (and making hers as well)! Now I drink cappuccino every morning, because the taste is better than coffee (Americano) and it takes the same amount of time. That’s my chief complaint with this machine, the active time spent using it. You can’t set it to be ready when you wake up, and the operation is active; you can’t just push a button and walk away. So my experience is not in comparison to any other espresso maker, but compared to a “normal coffee maker.”
I also wanted to share a few tips to getting the time down from 8 minutes to 4 minutes including clean up. This is for people who have been using the machine for a few months so you know what I’m talking about.
1. Use the shelf of the machine for the milk foaming. If you use enough milk (we use heavy cream/almond milk), the steamer tube will reach into the milk while in the included steel “pitcher”. I have found no difference in milk/foam consistency if I stir the milk around or just let it sit. I use this time (usually takes 2 steam cycles) to empty out the grounds and clean up the filter holder.
2. I use a small metal spoon to clean out the grounds from the filter rather than banging it, which has been faster and makes less of a mess. I’ve been doing this for the past 4 months and have not noticed any scrapes to the filter or filter cup. The sooner you do this after use the easier it is.
3. We remove and rinse the filter after each use. This was very annoying for me as I have big fingers and it’s nearly impossible to grip the tiny rubber tab to pull the filter out. Then my wife showed me a trick: just use a small corner torn off from a paper towel to pull the tab. It gives you just enough grip to easily pull out the filter, and works every time.
I clean the filter and cup while the milk is foaming and this has made coffee making into only a minor annoyance rather than the serious one it was before.
My other complaint is the noise that the foamer makes. Surprisingly, the way that you orient/tilt the milk pitcher makes a big difference. Play around with it until the noise is reduced. I used to wake up the whole house with what I would call the “shrieking beasts of hell”, but now they have mostly been tamed.
Overall, I’m happy with the purchase, but it took some getting used to.
PS: In case anyone is wondering, each steam cycle adds about 30ml of water to your beverage. I weighed the milk pitcher before and after steaming. Yes, I’m a nerd.”
Verified Purchase: “I received my bible on Saturday 8-15-20 (today is Tuesday). I know I could have gotten an ESV much cheaper, but I wanted what held the word of God to reflect the wonder of his Word. I’ve been reading it three days now and have just finished Genesis. I love the type face. It’s perfectly spaced, crisp, and in a font large enough for my older eyes to read (10 pt). The pages are smooth as silk and, though thin as I expect bible pages to be, I have no problem with ghosting due to the type match. The verses are broken up nicely and I like how each chapter is labeled as to what happens in that chapter. The pages are just slightly off white, so they’re not glaring to look at. It’s very easy reading. I’ve never had an ESV bible, only King James. I love how the ESV is so easy to understand. At first I thought they’d made a mistake and sent me the black bible (I had ordered the blue). But on closer look, I saw the lovely blue edged pages with gold gilt and blue ribbons. The blue is a very dark navy color, exactly what I’d hoped for. Also it is red letter (Christ’s words in red) which is what I wanted. The red is an almost burgundy color, so not a bright red…which I like. All in all, this is exactly what I’d hoped for. I will cherish it forever. PS: I forgot to mention, it is very supple (soft and folds over easily) so if you plan to hold it up with one hand, the sides will droop because it’s so soft. I got the goatskin, maybe other leathers won’t bend so easily–and it smells wonderful! I noticed there were no pics, so I took a few. ~ A Happy Customer”
Verified Purchase: “This review is for the: KTC Gaming Monitor, 27 Inch 1440p 165Hz 144hz Monitor, 2K QHD 1ms GTG Fast IPS Computer Monitor, HDR, HDMI/USB C/DP Vertical Monitor, FreeSync & G-Sync, Swivel Tilt Height Pivot Adjustable, H27T22
First off, several reviewers have left inaccurate reviews based on their lack of knowledge; be it lack of knowledge of this specific monitor, monitors in general, or even their operating systems, GPU control panel settings, or game settings.
I want to correct some inaccuracies:
1. The monitor is 27 inches – NOT 24 inches. Monitors are measured diagonally, NOT horizontally. This monitor measures 27 inches diagonally (while it measures 24 inches horizontally).
2.1 The monitor does have true HDR (not fake HDR), and it has very strong effects, especially when properly configured. Needing to configure HDR is not a limitation of this monitor. It is a fact of life as it relates to HDR. It needs to be configured in the monitor, AND in the Windows operating system (search “Windows HD Color Settings” and turn on “Use HDR” – presumably, if you’re using MacOS, it likely also has something similar to this), AND in each specific game which you want to use HDR in.
2.2 When using HDR, you want to adjust your color, brightness, contrast, black level, gamma, etc. in the GPU control panel (e.g. NVIDIA Control Panel), the Windows OS (search “Color Management” > then click the “Advanced” tab where you’ll find a lot of options), and in each specific game. I cannot test to be sure, but I believe a similar function may exist within modern consoles, at least as it relates to turning on HDR, but also likely brightness, gamma, etc. in the consoles themselves, and at least in games. This can be adjusted to be easy on the eyes, and even far beyond that (i.e. the limitation far exceed the need and therefor do not restrict your ability to make it adjust just the way you like it).
Beyond that, I have a few things to say:
1. If IPS panels are supposed to have poor black levels, this monitor completely changes this rule. The blacks are pitch black; like a black hole, they are so black. Again, you have to know what you’re doing to properly configure things. So if your blacks don’t look black, it is a problem with your configuration, NOT the monitor – unless perhaps you got a lemon, but that isn’t likely as this company, while new to consumers, has been producing monitor hardware for decades and isn’t as new as they seem.
2. The brightness and contrast are extremely well defined. No complaints whatsoever.
3. The HDR truly puts this monitor in an entirely new class of it’s own. the level of detail, the dark blacks, the bright whites (to whatever level you adjust them), the contrast, the color vibrancy/saturation – it all looks so amazing, and it is extremely broad in how it can display images, video, and games. The colors are amazing, and can go far beyond what you need, or dialed back if you prefer.
3. The 1 ms response time, the 165Hz refresh rate, the 1440p (2K) resolution, the G-Sync & FreeSync, the incredible viewing angles of 178° both horizontal AND vertical, and fully adjustable height, swivel, tilt, and pivot, all add up to a monitor without any significant weakness compared to other monitors, and many very solid strengths.
(It’s late and I need to go to bed, so I’ll wrap it up.)
Overall, just as the title says, after a LOT of research into buying a new monitor, I still left like I was taking a gamble buying this one. Yet, I did, and it truly feels like I hit the jackpot or won the lottery. I HIGHLY recommend this monitor, so get it while it’s hot. I am still in awe at how awesome this monitor it.”
Verified Purchase: “I dealt with two raking style boxes for one year when recently one just stopped working. I have five cats so the electric self-cleaning boxes are a must have with so few of boxes. 1000% if you want/need a self-cleaning box this is the one, period!!
I’ve tried and painstakingly returned 3 different style self-cleaning boxes; the super expensive top of the line models at that! I opted for the less expensive/labor intensive raking style for the past year and settled on the fact that with whatever box, there was going to be daily cleaning involved. However, I’m here to tell you with this box there absolutely is not!!! If your cat will climb into this style, just do it! My issue is I have one finicky guy who refuses. I’ve not placed him in it like I did with prior models, hoping he would just one day use it… or I’d have two, heck three, of this style. The more expensive models similar to this one were ugly, took up way too much space, left litter outside box on floor, and still required daily cleaning. This one, none of the above!
This model is good looking, easy maintenance, and it saves a TON of litter. It has taken an hour off my morning litter box cleaning routine. Yes, I spend two hours cleaning, and dumping, and refilling the raking style boxes, and then there’s the vacuuming/brooming litter off the hardwood. With this machine, for whatever reason, only a tiny bit of litter is ever viewed outside the machine on the floor. It efficiently cleans the box (QUIETLY) and the only issue I’ve had is one of my cats is so fascinated by it, she has made it a game to make it stop if she catches it cleaning itself. I can’t stress how quiet this machine is compared to my annoying rake style (my kids actually turn the rake style off when we are trying to watch a movie it’s so loud). As for size, I have HUGE cats, there is ample room for them to maneuver around in it, so no more strays outside the box! It’s large, but unlike another model I dropped $700 on, it takes up minimal floor space/room, and it’s so much better looking. Look, I’ll clean a litter box three times a day to avoid an ugly monstrosity of a machine. With this model, No more daily raking, wiping clean, and vacuuming. You absolutely can/and prob should at least once a week observe a cycle and rake off any stuck poo, but it is not necessary, it will eventually fall out during a cycle, but I’m a clean freak and like to keep it like new. The tray is easily assessable from the front bottom, and I keep the same bag in it all week- I dump the the receptacle waste daily into our bathroom trash can with my other litter box waste and take out to trash bin to minimize trash bag waste. However, it holds a ton of waste and now I can safely skip a day if I’m rushed in the morning (unlike my other raking machine). Remember, I have five cats! If I had one or two cats, I could easily go a week before dumping it.
The downside (which compared to other machines, really isn’t an issue)… you’ll need a flashlight handy to view into the actual box to check the litter level and observe a cycle to ensure it’s efficiently cleaning. Also, refilling litter will require some maneuvering with the big plastic jugs… the easiest manner would be to scoop from a box with a scoop to refill (but seriously, I’ve had this machine for one month and have only added a scoop maybe 3-4 times just to refreshen the box). It saves so much litter!!! I’ve went through two jugs with the raking machine in the same time frame. I’m almost convinced that I should just buy another (throw out my remaining raking box) and my finicky guy would start using it, he’s the only one out of my five that I haven’t seen use it. This machine saves me so much time and frustration!
After reading reviews about the app, I didn’t even set mine up until recently. However, when I did, I had no issues. It only allows you to register 4 cats 😬 My cats all weigh about the same so it shows the same use for all of them. It’s getting a used and cleaned on average 9 times per day (but I have another box as well).”
